About 3FR
3FR is the raw format of Hasselblad's medium format cameras, from the H series to the X1D and X2D. A single shot from the 100 megapixel X2D takes about 200 MB.
A 3FR is built on TIFF and holds 14 or 16 bits per pixel. Hasselblad's Phocus software turns 3FR files into FFF when it imports them, and they stay raw. Filepeek opens both.
No browser shows 3FR by itself. Filepeek develops it with LibRaw, the open source raw decoder, using the camera's white balance. A 100 megapixel file takes a few seconds and is shown at half size, so your device keeps enough memory.

Questions
What is an FFF file?
A 3FR that Hasselblad's Phocus software has imported. It's still raw, and Filepeek opens it the same way.
Why do the colors differ from Phocus?
Phocus develops photos with Hasselblad's own color, the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution. Filepeek develops the raw data neutrally with LibRaw, using the camera's white balance, so colors and contrast can differ.
Can it handle 100 megapixel files?
Yes. A file that big takes a few seconds to develop and is shown at half size, so your device keeps enough memory. Export saves it as JPEG or PNG.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Even a 200 MB raw is developed inside your browser and never leaves your device.
