About DNG
Adobe released DNG, short for Digital Negative, in 2004 as a raw format any camera could use, so raw photos stay readable without one maker's software. It's built on TIFF, and anyone can use the specification for free.
iPhone Pro models save ProRAW photos as DNG, and so do many Android phones, DJI drones and cameras from Leica, Pentax and Ricoh. Lightroom and Adobe's free DNG Converter also turn other raw formats into DNG.
No browser shows DNG by itself. Filepeek develops it with LibRaw, the open source raw decoder, using the white balance the camera recorded. A big file takes a few seconds. Then you can zoom in, read its EXIF and save it as JPEG or PNG.

Questions
How do I open a DNG without Lightroom?
Drop it on this page or press Peek a DNG. Filepeek develops it in your browser, with nothing to install, and you can zoom in to check focus and detail.
Why does it look flatter than on my phone?
Phones and cameras add their own contrast, color and sharpening to the photos they show. Filepeek develops the raw data neutrally, with the recorded white balance, so the same shot can look flatter here.
Can I turn a DNG into a JPEG?
Yes. Open it, choose Export, then Save as JPEG or Save as PNG. It all happens on your device, so it works as a raw converter that uploads nothing.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The DNG is developed inside your browser and never sent to a server.
