About CR3
Canon introduced CR3 in 2018 with the EOS M50. It's the raw format of every EOS R camera, of later DSLRs like the EOS 90D, and of PowerShots like the G7 X Mark III.
Unlike the TIFF based CR2, a CR3 is built on the ISO base media format, the same family as MP4 and HEIF. It holds 14 bits per pixel, or 12 in some fast modes, compressed losslessly or, as C-RAW, about a third smaller with a little loss.
No browser shows CR3 by itself. Filepeek develops both kinds with LibRaw, the open source raw decoder, using the camera's white balance. Show EXIF lists the camera, the lens and the settings, and Export saves a JPEG or PNG.

Questions
Why won't CR3 files open on my computer?
Many computers need an extra app or extension for Canon raws, and no browser can show them. Filepeek brings LibRaw along, so CR3 opens here with nothing to install.
Does it open C-RAW files?
Yes. C-RAW is a CR3 with lighter compression that gives up a little detail, and Filepeek develops it like any other CR3.
Why does it look flatter than on my camera?
Your camera applies its Picture Style, with extra contrast, color and sharpening, to the photos it shows and saves as JPEG. Filepeek develops the raw data neutrally, with the camera's white balance, so the photo can look flatter here.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The CR3 is developed inside your browser, so your photo stays on your device.
