About SVGZ
An SVGZ is an SVG file compressed with gzip, usually a fraction of the original size. Inkscape and other drawing apps can save it, and it's common for icons, maps and clip art.
Browsers only unzip an SVGZ when a web server says it's compressed. Opened straight from your computer, most of them can't show it.
Filepeek unzips the file inside your browser and draws the SVG within. Like any SVG here, it stays sharp while you zoom, and scripts inside it don't run.

Questions
How do I open an SVGZ file?
Drop it on this page or press Peek an SVGZ. Filepeek unzips it and shows the drawing, with no tools to install.
Do scripts in it run?
No. Filepeek shows it as an image, so scripts inside never run.
Is my file uploaded?
No. It's unzipped and drawn inside your browser.
Can I save it as PNG?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as PNG.
